Sturing hoping for Dingsdag deal
VITESSE ARNHEM coach Edward Sturing is hoping the club can resolve Michael Dingsdag's contract and retain his services.
The young defender was recently informed he would not stay on as the side cannot match his wage demands.
Despite an agreement being currently some way off, Sturing is confident Dingsdag will stay as he wants him in the squad.
"I agree with the policy of the club to not keep Zeman, Riga and Levchenko, but that doesn't apply for Michael Dingsdag," said the new coach to vitesse.netwerk.to.
"The option to extend his contract has not been used, but I'd like to keep him in the squad.
"With injuries he can also play left back, but he will be primarily for the centre. The parties now only have to agree."
