Udinese suffer injuries
UDINESE defender Andrea Sottil is expected to miss the club's push for a Uefa Cup spot through injury.
Sottil underwent surgery on Tuesday to remove a fragment of cartilage in his knee and is likely to be sidelined for the majority of the last six Serie A games.
But in addition to Sottil's absence, Udinese coach Luciano Spalletti will also have to cope with the brief absence of Nestor Sensini (pictured).
The club's captain injured his knee during Sunday's 0-0 draw at home to Brescia.
The veteran stopper has been told to miss training for ten days and the Udinese medical staff will assess the injury before determining a date for Sensini's comeback.
