Van der Meyde reveals Inter interest
The Dutchman has been a major star for Ajax this season, and has caught the eye of Champions League semi-finalists Inter.
Van der Meyde is currently in Milan with the rest of the Ajax squad as they prepare to face Milan in the Champions League, and he told Dutch TV that he was aware of Inter's interest.
The 23-year-old said that there had been contact made between his agents and Inter officials and he was interested by the possibility of playing in Serie A, although no official approach has been made to the Amsterdam ArenA outfit.
The flying winger is highly rated among Europe's top clubs and Hector Cuper may not be the only coach enquiring about him in the summer.
Van der Meyde is part of Ronald Koeman's squad that has done well in the Champions League and could well face Inter in the semi-finals should they get the better of city rivals Milan on Wednesday night.
The game is nicely poised after a goalless draw in Amsterdam in the first leg, and van der Meyde could impress Cuper even more should the two sides meet in the last four.
