Three more withdraw from Reggae Boyz squad
Charlton Athletic striker Lisbie and Kelly failed to arrive and meet up with the rest of the squad at their Cape Town headquarters due to problems over airline tickets for Kelly and Lisbie being diagnosed with flu.
Leicester City forward Benjamin picked up an injury in his side's 1-1 draw against Norwich City on Sunday, in which he scored and also failed to make the trip.
With Benjamin's Foxes' team-mate Frank Sinclair and Jamie Lawrence of Walsall also pulling out over the weekend - the Reggae Boyz are now reduced to 15 members of their squad and two of them -LA Galaxy's Tyrone Marshall and Jermaine Johnson of Bolton have yet to arrive.
Assistant coach Peter Cargill was disappointed at the no show by the three stars but says the team will carry on regardless.
"It has affected us in terms of not having a lot of options," Cargill told the Observer.
"But in terms of the squad, I think we still have a fairly good squad that should be able to represent us well.
"The vibe has been wonderful, this evening you could see it, touches off the ball, people are motivated and its good to welcome back Michael Johnson, [Birmingham City], who looks much slimmer, much better than he looked in the past and also a big welcome to Darren Byfield, [Rotherham], who looks very good and we are expecting a good game from him.
"And the old guards Paul Hall [Rushden & Diamonds], and Fitzroy Simpson [Walsall], so we are expecting a good game."
