The prodigious young striker, who currently plays for Lyon, has quickly become one of his nation's most promising young players.

Inevitably this has brought speculation of interest from Europe's top clubs, and agent Guerra insists that at least four sides are considering a bid for his charge.

"Sidney has attracted strong interest from four European aces," states Guerra. "Liverpool, Manchester United, Juventus and Milan.

"These are not rumours, this is serious contact.

"I think Sidney is ready to take the plunge and leave.

"Those great clubs have been making sheep's eyes at him for several months.

"[Lyon supremo] Jean-Michel Aulas can hit the jackpot in the case of Sidney's transfer and he is aware of that.

"He won't refuse a serious offer.

"Sidney is worth around £16 million and is more than ready to be a first team player at, say, Liverpool or Juventus. He is probably at that level.

"Moreover - how could you say no to a mythical club?"
