Real worried about Ronaldo

RONALDO is a serious doubt for Real Madrid`s trip to Turin for the second leg of their Champions League semi-final with Juventus due to a calf injury.

The striker scored Real`s opener in their 2-1 win on Tuesday, but limped out of the match on 50 minutes.

Initial fears of a recurrence of his old knee trouble were swiftly allayed, but the calf problem in his left leg is clearly causing concern.

Real`s chief medical officer Alfonso Del Corral is set to run more stringent tests on Ronaldo on Wednesday and Thursday, but said the Brazilian World Cup winner is a 'serious doubt' for the return leg.

Ronaldo will definitely miss the weekend Liga encounter with struggling Recreativo Huelva, and his absence will put a strain on Vicente Del Bosque`s resources as Raul is still on the sidelines.
