Materazzi confident of Inter win
Milan were technically the home side in the first leg at Giuseppe Meazza, and go into the second leg knowing that an away goal could be a huge factor in deciding who reaches the final.
However, Materazzi has taken heart from a fine defensive display in the second half, in which Milan dominated but could not find a crucial goal.
"We gave our best and Milan did the same," said the former Everton man.
"In the second half they went looking for a goal, which was to be expected considering that they were the host.
"However, we had two great opportunities and we played at the same level - with some good ball possession.
"Now we have to wait and see what happens next week.
"If we can play at our best then we will qualify for the final."
