Dragons offer Saints starlet deal
NEWLY promoted Wrexham are set to offer Southampton trialist Matt Crowell a deal to stay at the Racecourse Ground.
Denis Smith has been impressed by the 18-year-old during his trial period and has offered him professional terms by the new Division Two side.
The midfielder may choose to move back to his native Wales after previously starring for Swansea City's youth academy before making the move to England to join The Saints' youth set-up.
The St Mary's side may be willing to release the talented youngster as a football league tribunal ruled the South Coast side would have to pay The Swans somewhere in the region of £500,000 compensation if Crowell completed certain criteria while at the beaten FA Cup finalists
