Koeman spotted in France

AJAX boss Ronald Koeman and his assistant Ruud Krol were spotted on Tuesday evening in France watching Paris Saint Germain draw 0-0 with Rennes at Parc des Princes.

The Amsterdam giants are three points behind Dutch Eredivisie leaders PSV Eindhoven with two matches remaining in the season and the club's coaching staff have been keeping a close on players in the French league.

Though Koeman refused to say which player or players he may have been watching, the Ajax manager admitted they are in the final stages of making a move for someone they watched in the PSG - Rennes match.

"When I go to watch a player, it means we are coming to the latest stage (of moving for him)," Koeman told Algemeen Dagblad.

Sources in France suggest that Rennes midfielder Gregory Bourillon could be the player that has caught the eye of Koeman and his Ajax staff.
