Anderson departs Lyon
SONNY ANDERSON is the first player out of the Lyon exit door after admitting he has played his last game for the club.
Although the next destination of the former Barcelona striker remains unknown, Spanish side Valencia are reportedly keen on landing the veteran.
The experienced Brazilian is unlikely to be short of suitors, after helping guide the side to the French title this season.
"I've played my last game with Lyon and now I will follow my career in a European club," said the striker, eliminating the possibility of playing his football in Qatar.
Although Anderson had one year remaining on his existing deal, the club agreed he could leave should an improved offer come to fruition.
