McHugh wins Bantams deal
The 21-year-old had been on a non-contract basis at Bradford, but he has won a one-year professional deal after impressing Bantams boss Nicky Law.
The former Swindon ace broke into the first-team at the back end of last season and Law was keen to reward him for his progress.
Meanwhile, Bradford are still interested in signing Dundee United goalkeeper Alan Combe.
Combe enjoyed a loan spell at Valley Parade two seasons ago, but had to return to Dundee United when his loan deal expired.
The 29-year-old is now set to leave Tannadice when his contract expires in a month and Bradford are one of a number of clubs looking at the custodian.
Combe is delighted that Bradford are still interested in him and he admitted he wished he joined them last year instead of going back to Dundee United.
"I can't say that Bradford is where I'm going to be next season because I don't know myself. But it's fantastic that they are still interested in me," Combe told the Bradford Telegraph & Argus.
"With all that's happened I've been thinking that I would love to go there. I wish it had happened sooner but the club's financial position wasn't great although that seems to be sorted out now.
"My agent says there has been interest from other clubs but I certainly enjoyed my time with Bradford. It's a pity I couldn't have gone there a year ago."
