Sammer wants Amoroso stay
Sammer failed to let the Brazilian star play a whole 90 minutes in the Bundesliga last term - a situation that left the former Parma goalgetter fuming and threatening to leave.
The BVB coach revealed, however, in a interview with Borussia Online that Amoroso is still very much part of his plans as the Schwarz-Gelben attempt to improve on a disappointing third place finish next term.
"I'm sure he will return from the summer break in top-fit condition and will be ready to give his all for the club next season," Sammer said.
When asked about Amoroso's claims that he would be looking for another club, Sammer simply replied: "There was no sign of that when he said goodbye before his holiday and there will be no reservations from my side for the coming season."
