Millers capture Montgomery

Montgomery has signed on a free transfer after being released by Coventry at the end of last season.

Moore revealed to Planetfootball.com that he was keen to sign a new goalkeeper after releasing Ian Gray.

"We have signed Gary Montgomery on a two-year deal," Moore told Planetfootball.com.

"He was released by Coventry and I have been looking for a new goalkeeper to replace Ian Gray.

"He is a young keeper and we needed an understudy for Mike Pollitt."

Moore also revealed that he is looking to add to Montgomery's signing by bringing in four or five new players to Millmoor for the start of next season.

"I am looking at signing four or five players in the summer and I have held talks with some players.

"The problem is most players are away on holiday and I won't know until mid-June who I can sign.

"I am in the market for a new left back, left winger and midfielder who can keep hold of the ball for us."
