Wilder swoops for United duo
HALIFAX TOWN boss Chris Wilder has completed a double swoop on Sheffield United.
Ryan Mallon and Lewis Killeen both spent time on loan to the Conference outfit and suitably impressed to be offered long-term deals.
24 year-old Mallon spent three months with the Yorkshire side scoring eight goals from midfield in just 16 appearances while 20 year-old striker Killeen scored four times in 13 games.
Wilder raided former club Sheffield United for the talented duo beating off competition from several Nationwide League clubs.
The pair will be joined at The Shay by fellow new signings Lee Elam and Christian Lee as Halifax aim to climb back into the Football League next season.
