Radebe wants Leeds role
The former Kaizer Chiefs ace, who played his final international match in his country's 2-1 friendly defeat to England, is expected to retire from football next season.
Radebe arrived at Elland Road back in 1994, after being signed by Howard Wilkinson, and has performed consistently at the highest level for The Whites in almost a decade of service.
"I would love to be involved here...absolutely, completelyǪI would love it," said Radebe to the club's official website.
"It's like this, since I've started playing football I've played for four (professional) teams. I started with an amateur team in Bophutatswana then Bobsol, then ICL Birds and I graduated there, then Kaizer Chiefs and then Leeds.
"It was just one stepping stone every time to move up a level, but if you were to open up my heart you'll see the crests of all those teams and Leeds United is definitely there.
"I am going to do the coaching badge and hopefully with the relationship I have here with some great people at the club, who have made me settled, I will be able to do well.
"It's my second home and it would be nice to settle here and get a job."
Meanwhile, Leeds manager Peter Reid has revealed he will not be hurried into appointing his backroom staff at Elland Road.
With Brian Kidd and long-serving coach Eddie Gray handed their notices, the former Sunderland boss has yet to bring in his own team.
Former Everton colleague Paul Bracewell is the latest name to be linked with a role at Elland Road, along with Adrian Heath.
The former Fulham and Halifax Town manager is currently working on the international scene with England's youngsters.
However, Reid stated he will not be making any quick decisions on who to bring in, saying: "I'm in no rush."
