Valiants dismiss Taylor link
PORT VALE boss Brian Horton has ruled out a swoop for former West Bromwich Albion Albion striker Bob Taylor.
Horton has admitted he is keen to add some more experience to his ranks as he looks to bolster his squad for next term.
However, the former Manchester City chief insisted speculation linking him with 36-year-old Taylor - who was released by the Baggies at the end of last term - was wide of the mark.
Horton has set his sights on making six new signings this summer, and is hopeful that Austrian defender/midfielder Andreas Lipa will become the first of those in the next few days.
