QPR seal double deal
QUEENS PARK RANGERS have sealed a deal for winger Gareth Ainsworth and have also handed a new contract to full back Gino Padula.
Both players have agreed two-year deals with Rangers and will pen their deal within the next week.
Ainsworth arrives on a free transfer from Cardiff, after being released by the newly promoted Welsh outfit.
The Hoops are believed to have beaten a number of clubs to the 30-year-old's signature.
Padula, a mainstay of QPR's defence last season, has also decided to commit his future to the club.
Manager Ian Holloway is making rapid progress with his promotion plans for next season having already landed Martin Rowlands and Eric Sabin, to go along with the deals for Ainsworth, Padula and goalkeeper Chris Day.
