Eto'o looking to better Ronaldinho
CAMEROON star Samuel Eto'o is looking to upstage Brazilian superstar Ronaldinho.
The pair face each other on Thursday evening when Brazil meet Cameroon in The Confederations Cup and while many will be watching Ronaldinho's display, numerous Premiership clubs will be monitoring Eto'o.
The African striker has once again impressed for his club Mallorca this season and he is desperate to earn a move to The Premiership.
The likes of Lyon and Valencia have also been linked with the Malloran star, but England is his preferred destination.
"I want to be able to prove what I can do against the best in the world," Eto'o said before his nation's clash with Brazil.
"I know what I can do and I have already shown that during the season, but this is another chance."
The likes of Manchester United, Tottenham, Liverpool and Newcastle have all watched Eto'o in recent weeks and they are set to be joined by other English clubs in France on Thursday.
Eto'o's agent Willie McKay confirmed to planetfootball.com that there was a great deal of interest in his client.
"There are a number of club watching him," he said.
"He has this chance to show what he can do again and that should be good for him.
"We have a number clubs interested.
"I am sure many will be going to watch Ronaldinho, but they will probably come away thinking of Eto'o."
