Mostovoi fearful over Celta future
The Russian schemer's current deal with Celta expires on June 30th, and Mostovoi is unhappy with the club's present offer of an extension.
The 34-year-old insists he is desperate to extend his stay at the Balaidos, especially since the club have clinched Champions League football next term, but says he will leave if he is not made what he considers a suitable offer.
"We have still not reached an agreement, and it's looking complicated," said the former Strasbourg midfielder.
"If they don't want me here I'll go and that's that.
"Obviously I want to stay in Vigo, but at the same time I'm not asking the world of them."
It is believed the two parties are still at odds over the length of any new deal.
Mostovoi is looking for a fresh two-year contract, while Celta are currently only prepared to offer a one-year deal with an option for a second.
However, the Russian stated that there was still time for both sides to continue talks and settle their differences.
"I have not put timeframes on this. We could resolve this after the holidays."
