Pochettino could stay with PSG
PARIS SAINT GERMAIN could hang on to Argentine international defender Mauricio Pochettino.
The powerful centre back has emerged as a target for Bayer Leverkusen, but is not keen on a move to Die Budesliga.
Pochettino has been offered a three-year contract by Bayer, as they try to lure him away from Paris.
However, it appears the experienced player is not against extending his stay with PSG, as they look to challenge for honours next season.
The 31-year-old had, at one point, looked destined for a return to Spain and Espanyol, with several other teams also keen to snap up the reliable stopper.
However, with his Paris side set to receive a major cash boost from the sale of Ronaldinho, he could receive a better contract offer that will keep him at Parc des Princes.
