Busy Jags look to Chelsea duo
PARTICK THISTLE have confirmed to planetfootball.com that they are in talks with Chelsea youngster Jean Yves Anis, and revealed that another Blues starlet, Andy Ross, has finalised a deal.
Thistle, who have also handed David Rowson (pictured) a one-year deal on Tuesday, are in negotiations to sign Frenchman Anis.
They are keen to bring in the youngster from Stamford Bridge, where he would link up with former team-mate Ross.
Ross was expected to seal a contract when his present deal with Chelsea ended, and he put pen-to-paper on Tuesday morning.
Chief Executive Alan Dick confirmed the new arrivals, and admitted that it had been a busy few days.
"There has certainly been plenty of talking done in the last week," Dick told planetfootball.
"We have re-signed David Rowson to a one-year deal this morning [Tuesday], and David Ross has also put pen-to-paper to join us.
"His deal with Chelsea ended at midnight last night and he has signed up as we hoped.
"We also signed Eddie Forrest this week.
"We are in talks with another Chelsea youngster, called Jean Yves Anis, and hopefully things will progress.
"There are a couple of chaps at the club, training with us, one of which is a Ghanaian, but it is very early to say anything more than that."
