Milanetto warns Modena
The 27-year-old, known as Hannibal, feels he deserves another extension after playing a huge part in their survival last term.
The midfielder is currently on holiday in Egypt, but he has told Modena to come up with new terms within the next week or he will look to quit.
Ç£Too much time has passed,Ç¥ said Milanetto.
Ç£If this week they do not speak with me about a new contract, then I am no more.
Ç£I have never hidden my demands to Modena, in three years I have not caused any trouble and I have never said a word against anyone.
Ç£If they do not offer me a new deal by the end of the week, then they will be in breach of our deal.Ç¥
Modena do not seem keen on handing Milanetto a new contract, as he has two years left on his current deal.
However, they are now aware that Middlesbrough, Fulham, Brescia, Chievo and Parma are all showing an interest in his services.
Modena must now decide whether to offer their star midfielder new terms or sell him to the highest bidder - and an auction may put off many teams from firming up their interest anyway.
New coach Alberto Malesani would only say that the player has to abide by his current deal.
Ç£Omar Milanetto has a contract with Modena for another two years and therefore he must honour that,Ç¥ said Malesani.
