Beckham signs Real deal
The England captain passed his medical earlier on Tuesday and then arrived to meet with president Florentino Perez, sporting director Jorge Valdano and new coach Carlos Queiroz at the Bernabeu.
Beckham, who was handed a pen by Perez, inked a four-year contract watched by the Real officials.
The player himself was joined by his wife Victoria and son Brooklyn, as he signed the largest contract of his playing career.
"I am very happy, very happy indeed," Beckham said.
"I thank everyone."
Beckham will be officially unveiled to the media on Wednesday and will then return to England, before departing for Spain later in the month to begin his new life.
