Giggs' United pledge

RYAN GIGGS` agent has insisted that the flying Welsh winger wants to remain at Manchester United.

Reports earlier in the week claimed Serie A titans Internazionale were set to resurrect their long-standing interest in the Welsh ace, after president Massimo Moratti said the Nerazzuri would be 'aggressive' in the transfer market.

It would appear Inter coach Hector Cuper will be indulged in the transfer market, but there has not yet been a move made for Giggs.

"Giggs still has three years to run on his Manchester United contract," the 29-year-old`s agent Harry Swales said. "We have not had contact from any team at the moment.

"All the reports that are appearing in the newspapers are simply not true. He wants to remain at Manchester United.

"We have never spoken with Inter and, in any case, they would first have to speak to Manchester United and this has not happened.

"There has been no approach from Inter or any other Italian clubs."
