Edghill trials at Turf
BURNLEY are taking a look at former Manchester City man Richard Edghill.
The defender established himself as a top-player at Maine Road, before a patchy period saw the fans turn against him.
Once talked of as an England prospect, Edghill is out of contract and has been handed a chance to impress at Turf Moor.
"I'm taking a look at Richard Edghill," confirmed Clarets boss Stan Ternent.
"He's a good player, it's only a year ago he was with Manchester City and he can play in various positions."
Ternent is keen to bring in new faces after a mass exodus of older players at the end of the season.
