Ronaldinho heads to Madrid
The Brazilian superstar had been in London on a commercial engagement on Thursday which had prompted rumours that he was on the verge of completing a move to The Premiership.
Talks between Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain over a transfer are still ongoing, and Chelsea have also registered their interest in the 23-year-old.
However, Ronaldinho has stated that despite his latest trip to Spain, where it is assumed his representatives will meet with Real Madrid, he is not currently thinking about his footballing future.
"I don't want to talk about my future, I am on holiday," said the gifted schemer.
"With so much going on I just can't think, my mind is blank.
"I'm flying back to Madrid and then I'm going straight to Brazil because I need some holiday.
"After that I will return to Europe but I don't know if I'll be back in England."
The South American's words do not suggest that Manchester United's attempts to clinch his signature are any further progressed, and it now seems likely that Real Madrid will step up their efforts to prise him away from PSG.
