Everton: Rooney not for sale
EVERTON have insisted that superstarlet Wayne Rooney is not for sale, with several English newspapers suggesting that the teenager is top of Chelsea's wanted list.
David Moyes has always insisted that he is trying to build his side and not looking to sell top players.
However, amidst the furore of Chelsea's take-over, with billionaire Roman Abramovich's cash input inevitably bringing speculation over every top player in the world, Everton have reiterated this stance.
"There has been no contact from Chelsea," a spokesman for the club told The People.
"And, as has been made clear many times, David Moyes is in the process of building a team at Everton not deconstructing one."
