Harriers trial for young Aussie

KIDDERMINSTER HARRIERS have handed a trial to defender Kevin Murphy.

The Australian was released by Sheffield United at the end of the season, after failing to earn a permanent stay at Bramall Lane.

Murphy, brother of Blades defender Shaun, joined the club midway through the season after impressing during a trial.

He is now looking to remain in England and has been given the chance to impress at Aggborough.

"We haven't been able to get anyone else in yet, but I hope we will see some movement soon," said Kidderminster manager Ian Britton.

"It's a bit like moving house. We're stuck in a chain. I talk to clubs and players, but managers don't want to let players go unless they have a replacement."

Meanwhile, Harriers have confirmed the release of Inderpaul Khela.
