Gakhokidze signs for Twente
TWENTE have pulled off a notable coup by signing Giorgi Gakhokidze from PSV Eindhoven.
The Enschede outfit confirmed they were in talks with Gakhokidze over the weekend, following his release from PSV Eindhoven.
They were confident of a deal being completed and Gakhokidze has now signed a one-year contract.
The Georgian needs to play one more season before being granted Dutch nationality.
Despite interest from RBC Roosendaal, he has accepted a reduced terms offer from Twente and will look to resurrect his career in De Eredivisie.
