Clinton ready to prove himself
Morrison picked up an injury in the final stages of the season, and watched from the sidelines as Christophe Dugarry established himself as the darling of the St Andrews crowd.
However, the former Crystal Palace man, who arrived for a then club record £4.25 million, believes that he can build on a disappointing start.
"I don't want to be forgotten but if I do my stuff on the pitch then people will sit up and take notice," said the striker.
"I have got a lot to prove this season - and hopefully I can do that.
"Hopefully they will then say 'he's done better than last year' and that's all I can do.
"It takes time to get used to The Premiership and I am far more settled now and enjoying life.
"It was very frustrating for me as the team did very well towards the end of the season.
"They went on a great run and watching some of the games I thought I could have maybe added to my tally of goals and reached double figures.
"It then wouldn't have looked such a bad year in the end but I picked up the injury at the wrong time.
"I thought I did well against Liverpool with Christophe but then the injury came against West Brom.
"It has been difficult but you always get ups and downs in football so you have to take it on the chin."
