Coupe to sign Ashton Gate contract
BRISTOL CITY youngster David Coupe is set to sign his first professional contract with the West Country club.
The 18-year-old goalkeeper was recommended to The Robins by striker Leroy Lita and was a regular in the club's Under-19 side last term.
His progress saw him promoted to the reserves towards the end of last season and the youngster has already started pre-season training with new goalkeeping coach Mike Stowell (pictured) and number one custodian Steve Phillips.
Should Coupe progress into the first team this coming season, he is likely to earn a debut appearance at some stage of the upcoming campaign.
