Donny trial five more players
DONCASTER ROVERS boss Dave Penney has added five more trialists to his Belle Vue squad for pre-season training.
The defensive trio of former Coventry City man Robert Betts (pictured), Blackburn Rovers' Michael Cole and Mansfield Town's David Jervis have all joined the Division Three newcomers for training.
Donny will also take a close look at two midfielders in Chelsea's Paul Thornton and Hibernian's Leslie Byle.
The five join Hibs defender Paul Hilland in having a run-out with Donny, as the South Yorkshire outfit look to boost their squad following last season's play-off success in The Conference.
Penney has already made two signings this summer, with Leo Fortune-West and John McGrath making the move to Belle Vue for the new season.
