Blues put Cisse up for sale
BIRMINGHAM CITY have slapped Senegalese midfielder Aliou Cisse on the transfer list.
Cisse has been put up for sale by Blues for a serious breach of club discipline and has also been fined the maximum possible.
The 27-year-old failed to report for pre-season training on July 2 when he was expected to return earlier than the majority of the squad to build up his fitness.
However, Cisse did not pick up the messages from Blues' coaching staff as he had lost both his moblie phones.
This explanation was accepted at St Andrews but Cisse turned up late for the first full training session of pre-season on Thursday.
His 90 minute delay in arrival infuriated Blues boss Steve Bruce, who has made the decision to offload last summer's £1.5 million signing from Montpellier.
