Ronnie deal 'almost done'
BARCELONA vice-president Sandro Rosell has admitted to planetfootball.com that the deal for Ronaldinho is 'almost done'.
The Catalan giants have seemingly outmanoeuvred English champions Manchester United in the race for the Brazilian star.
Ronaldinho is expected in Spain on Saturday and should be unveiled to the local media on Monday.
"It is almost done," he admitted to planetfootball.
"But with the history of this deal, until the contract is signed I will not be happy."
The deal Barca have brokered is believed to be a basic é¼25 million with another é¼5 million in additional fees for PSG and Ronaldinho.
The player will pen a five-year contract, enabling Barca to spread the fees over the length of his deal.
Roberto Assis also added: "The negotiations have not been easy, but we have the okay from Paris Saint Germain and it should be closed now."
Planetfootball.com understand that Ronaldinho arrived in Spain from Porto Alegre on Saturday morning and he caught a flight from Madrid to Barcelona at 15:10 GMT.
The player will have a medical on Sunday, before finalising the deal.
