Savio inks Zaragoza deal
REAL ZARAGOZA have completed the capture of Brazilian winger Savio on a free transfer.
Savio was available on the cheap after his contract with Real Madrid expired at the end of June and he had previously appeared set to join the Spanish champions' city rivals, Atletico.
But Savio has plumped for Liga new boys Zaragoza, inking a two-year contract with the option of a further 12 months.
The 29-year-old spent last season on loan at Bordeaux and will be eager to prove he can still cut the mustard in the Spanish top flight.
He will arrive in Zaragoza on Thursday when he will undergo a medical and link up with his new team-mates for pre-season training.
