Balmer earns Boston role
BOSTON UNITED have added veteran defender Stuart Balmer to their coaching staff.
Balmer signed for The Pilgrims on a free transfer from Oldham Athletic back in February after spending the previous two months on loan.
The 33-year-old established himself in the side as Boston retained their place in the Third Division at the first time of asking.
Pilgrims boss Neil Thompson is eager to utilise Balmer's vast experience which was primarily accrued with Charlton and started as a junior with Scottish giants Celtic.
Balmer will work alongside Thompson and Neil Redfearn and will largely assist with training duties at York Street.
