Swans land Murphy
SWANSEA CITY have sealed the signing of Manchester City goalkeeper Brian Murphy.
The 20-year-old has signed a two-year contract at The Vetch Field.
The Irish goalkeeper was told he could leave by City manager Kevin Keegan at the end of the season and has been looking for a new club ever since.
Murphy trained with The Swans last week and did enough to earn a permanent contract from the Welsh outfit.
Murphy has spent time on loan at Oldham, Rotherham and Peterborough, but only saw any first team action at the latter.
