Stewart completes Forest switch
NOTTINGHAM FOREST have completed the loan signing of Scotland international Michael Stewart from Manchester United.
Despite interest from Burnley, Stewart decided to plump for Paul Hart's side - as confirmed by planetfootball.
Stewart, who is looking to prove his worth to Sir Alex Ferguson in his spell, has agreed a season-long loan deal after failing to earn a regular place in the Manchester United first team.
The midfielder accompanied Forest on their pre-season tour of France, and appeared in several friendlies - and has now penned the deal to stay at the club until next summer.
Burnley boss Stan Ternent was outraged to miss out on the midfielder, but agent George Wright told planetfootball on Monday that his charge has made the decision on purely footballing terms after receiving several offers.
