Schreuder seals Feyenoord switch
FEYENOORD have signed NAC Breda midfielder Alfred Schreuder on a three-year contract as a replacement for Paul Bosvelt.
The 30-year-old had been targeted by Austria Vienna but decided that a move to Austria was not right for either himself or his family and he has chosen to stay in his homeland.
NAC finally accepted Feyenoord's offer for the player after Schreuder made it clear that he wanted to move to the Dutch giants.
It is thought that the fee will be around ‚é¼1 to ‚é¼1.5 million for the midfielder, who could well make his debut on Saturday in a friendly against Celta Vigo at De Kuip.
Bosvelt has left the Dutch side to join Kevin Keegan's Manchester City on a two-year contract.
