Agent calls for new Arteta bid
ATLETICO MADRID have not ruled out another bid for Rangers midfielder Mikel Arteta, according to the player's agent.
The Spanish side have already been rebuffed in their attempt to lure the player back to La Liga, earlier this summer - but are ready to try again.
"The idea of buying Mikel has not deceased and, now the club has more money, I expect them to act quickly," Arteta's agent Miguel Santos told Marca.
Arteta has grown frustrated with his role at Ibrox, and the prospect of a return to Spain may well appeal.
Atletico are keen to add some depth to their squad as they attempt to put themselves back in amongst the challengers for neighbours Real Madrid's title.
