Livi capture keeper
The 27-year-old had been on trial at Almondvale following his release by The Jambos and also spent time training with Partick Thistle.
The former Scottish Under-21 international has inked a one-year contract with Livi and is delighted to have clinched the chance of regular first-team football.
McKenzie will get the opportunity to stake a claim to be the permanent number one when he replaces the suspended Alan Main for the first game of the SPL season against Partick next Saturday.
"It's good to be back involved in football again and staying in the SPL is a bonus," McKenzie said.
"With Alan suspended, the first game is up for me if I want it. I am not here to play second fiddle."
Livi chief executive Jim Leishman had no qualms in handing McKenzie the 12-month contract and has urged the shot-stopper to grasp his chance.
"Roddy has fitted in and done well enough in the games he's played to merit a one-year deal.
"It was important we got someone in for the start of the season because of Alan Main's suspension. Roddy will provide good competition for the number one jersey."
