Wolves capture Kameni

WOLVES have completed the signing of Cameroon goalkeeper Carlos Kameni with the move being subject to him successfully obtaining a work permit.

The move looked dead in the water after Wolves pulled out of the deal last week claiming they were not convinced by the Le Havre ace's commitment.

Wolves resurrected the deal after the player contacted them about holding further talks and he has signed a one-year loan deal with the option of a permanent deal.

"To make it to the national team at the age of just 19 shows that Carlos has got talent and the right temperament," Jones told the club's official website.

"But now we need to see whether he`s got what it takes to play in the Premier League.

"He has to get a work permit before the deal is completed but but if he can do that then I want him to compete with the other keepers at the club for the number one position

"We`ve signed him on a one year loan but if he proves himself there is an option to sign"
