PSG wait on Milan's Kaka talks

Milan have already had a bid in the region of $8 million rejected by the Brazilian club, with the Rossoneri determined to lure Kaka to San Siro.

The European champions are set for a further round of talks with Sao Paulo this week, with Milan now aware of the figure they must stump up to land the Brazilian international.

"We will have some more negotiations with Milan during this week and we will sell the player if Milan accept to pay $12 million for his transfer and the 15 percent that the player is entitled to for being transferred," said Sao Paulo supremo Juvenal Juvencio.

"If Milan accepts those conditions, we have decided to sell the player."

French giants PSG are also on the trail of the Samba midfielder with coach Vahid Halilhodzic impressed with the youngster's performance.

But Halilhodzic has yet to witness Kaka in the flesh and is holding fire on a bid to rival Milan.

"I saw Kaka on tape," Halilhodzic told L'Equipe. "He probably has qualities but I won't rush to sign him. Hiring on the basis of videos is over at PSG."

If PSG miss out on Kaka, the capital club have been advised to swoop for Rodrigo Gal on the recommendation of former star Ronaldinho.

Rodrigo Gal currently plays in the J-League for Jubilo Iwata and Ronaldinho perceives his compatriot to be an ideal replacement for himself at Parc des Princes following his transfer to Barcelona.

Meanwhile, Halilhodzic has confirmed Portuguese international Pauleta will make his PSG debut against Lille this weekend but the match will come too soon for Swiss playmaker Hakan Yakin.

He added: "I expect a lot from Pauleta. He has worked a lot. He is typically the player that can win a match on a half-chance.

"For Lille, he (Yakin) will be too short (of fitness) and probably for Metz too. Yakin is not fit physically and has a little groin inflammation and so is at risk of a big injury so he is working and still has two or three kilos to lose."
