Keegan tells Shuker to go
CHRIS SHUKER has joined up with Rochdale after his manager Kevin Keegan suggested the move to the player and the club.
The 21-year-old will be on a month's loan at Spotland and becomes manager Alan Buckley's seventh signing of the summer.
Shuker scored in Manchester City's win at Rochdale in a pre-season friendly on Monday night.
Keegan was impressed by the home side's passing style and advised the young striker to join the club to get some first-team football.
The player will train with his new team-mates for the rest of the week and will be available for selection for the game against Yeovil on Saturday.
