Everton tie up Chinese star
Li Tie was superb for The Toffees last year as they flourished under manager David Moyes.
The Asian superstar knew he was under pressure to produce, but his creative ability and passing range won over the Everton fans.
Moyes was always likely to seek a permanent deal for Li Tie, and has handed a lengthy contract to the midfielder.
Everton had baulked at the asking price of Li Tie's club Liaoning Badao, but a compromise has finally been struck - to the relief of both parties.
The Merseyside club are believed to have paid a little over £1 million for the player, although the actual fee has not been announced.
