Croatian squad announced

CROATIAN national coach Otto Baric has named his squad for the forthcoming friendly against England at Ipswich on August 20.

The only regular member of the squad not to make the trip is Wolfsburg striker Tomislav Maric, who misses out through injury and the manager has stuck with his policy of not picking players who play in the Croatian League.

The Portman Road friendly is a warm-up match for both countries as they prepare for Euro 2004 qualifying games in September.

England travel to play Macedonia on September 6, while Croatia face a trip to Andorra. England then host Liechtenstein on September 10, while Croatia travel to play Belgium.
