Flo goes to Italy
The Chelsea and Rangers hit-man has put pen to paper on a one-year deal, with an option for a second year, with the Artemio Franchi outfit after both clubs agreed a undisclosed fee on Thursday.
The tall hit-man passed a medical with his new club and will meet his new team-mates on Saturday, with Siena set to play Sampdoria in a pre-season friendly.
Flo's move to Italy brings to an end a nightmare spell at the Stadium of Light for the striker, as Sunderland failed to see much value from the £6.75 million they paid Rangers for the hit-man last August.
The Wearsiders were relegated from The Premiership at the end of last season and with the club deep in debt, they will be relieved to let Flo move on.
The Norwegian's exit from Sunderland looks to be followed by US international Claudio Reyna's impending move to Premiership side Fulham.
