Taylor talks of eye horror
Taylor, who has emerged as a target of Nottingham Forest and Norwich, has been absent from Burnley's season so far after picking up a nasty eye injury in a friendly against Leeds.
A collision with Michael Duberry left the 30-year-old in hospital for four days and the Wales international is only just getting back to fitness.
"At the time my left eyeball was scratched, but it was the other eye that took the full force of the blow," explained the Clarets star.
"I had a bleed caused by the pressure of a finger that caught me square on and there was damage to the nerve at the back.
"The eye filled up with blood straight away and I went blind on the way to hospital.
"After a couple of hours my sight gradually came back but I was in hospital for four days until the pressure came down."
