Forlan in Uruguay squad

DIEGO FORLAN has been included in the Uruguay squad to face Bolivia and Paraguay.

The South American qualifiers for the World Cup kick off this weekend, and Manchester United's Forlan has been named amongst the squad.

Uruguay face Bolivia in the Centenario Stadium in Montevideo, before taking on Paraguay in Asuncion.

Notable absences from the squad are striker Sebastian Abreu and Alejandro Lembo, a defender.

Goalkeepers: Gustavo Munua (Deportivo La Coruna) and Luis Barbat (Danubio)
Defenders: Cristian Gonzalez (Las Palmas), Cono Aguiar (Fenix), Alejandro Lago (Penarol), Diego Lopez (Cagliari) and Gonzalo Sorondo (Standard Liege).
Midfielders: Marcelo Sosa (Danubio), Martin Ligüera (Mallorca), Guillermo Giacomazzi (Lecce), Nelson Abeijon (Como), Ruben Olivera (Juventus) and Alvaro Recoba (Inter).
Strikers: Carlos Bueno (Penarol), Javier Chevanton (Lecce), Diego Forlan (Manchester United), Vicente Sanchez (Toluca), Mario Regueiro (Racing Santander) and Richard Nunez (Grasshoppers).
