PSG want me out - Leroy

PARIS SAINT GERMAIN have revealed that Jerome Leroy was banned from the squad to take on Montpellier at the weekend as the club tried to off-load him to rivals Guingamp.

The midfielder rejected the decision as he heard through a third party the club were trying to sell him and says the club are trying to force him out.

"On Sunday at 4pm, someone who was not part of the club, told me I was on the transfer market, a few hours before the transfer deadline," Leroy told L'Equipe.

"I didn't appreciate it. I would prefer an official to call me. I called the chairman and he told me this decision was for a non-footballing reason, I think they already had an agreement with Guingamp.

"I am attracted by this club, but I could not make such a decision so quickly. Anyway I wanted to know why they have taken the decision not to play me anymore.

"So yesterday I went to the training session and the coach (Vahid Halilhodzic) told me I harm the group.

"I couldn't believe it. He told me I didn't respect the shirt and that I had bad habits.

"Then I heard on TV he didn't want me anymore because I refused to be a substitute. It is unbelievable and quite lightweight.

"They are completely lost and the season has just started. They don't speak the truth. For the moment I won't play anymore because the coach told me. But I will wait because I can't accept to be banned.

"They are not frank enough to tell me that they want to sell me.

"I have talked to the other players who support me and trust me, and as long as they trust me I will stay."

Halilhodzic confirmed that he wants the 28-year-old to leave Parc des Princes: "On Sunday I decided Jerome Leroy was not a part of my plans anymore.

"The player wants to stay but I told him he could leave. The player will be a substitute and he doesn't accept this. He can leave the club."
